Last October, Chevrolet introduced the improved version of the Colorado 2021, and at that time, Chevrolet only offered the ZR2 off-road version, but now the car company has released photos of the LT and Z71 models that are offered at lower prices with the updated design.
As expected, these versions look less fierce than the ZR2 version, but are still bolder than the 2019 models thanks to a bold new grille and larger ventilation holes. The Chevrolet emblem has also been modified, and the back door decorated with the letters "Chevrolet" has been replaced to replace the Chevrolet emblem in the previous model on the rear of the car, which corresponds to the rear of the new Chevrolet Silverado.
According to Matt Nunn, director of exterior design for Chevrolet trucks, the air barrier under the bumper has been modified to improve the truck's aerodynamics. However, there are no mechanical changes to talk about, as 2021, like the 2020 model, is offered with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 200 hp, a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 308 hp and a 2.8-liter Duramax four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 181 hp.
Three new colors and new wheel designs have also been added, while price details have not yet been officially announced. The Base Extended Cab version is expected to be discontinued, and the Chevrolet Colorado 2021 production will begin at the end of June.
